La Manga Club is a marvellous venue for the finals and is undoubtedly Europe’s premier sporting complex, with 3 championship courses, tennis, bowls, pools galore, horse-riding and water sports. This sumptuous 5 star hotel is one of our favourites anywhere in the world. The service is second to none and it is beautifully furnished and decorated. The apartments overlook the North Course and are designed in style of a traditional Spanish village. The 1, 2 and 3 bedroom luxury apartments have an en-suite bathroom per bedroom, telephone, satellite TV, fully equipped kitchen, air-conditioning, dishwasher, washing machine and balcony / terrace. There is also a large outside pool. GOLF COURSES The South Course is considered the most challenging of the three courses. Wide palm-fringed fairways, deep ravines and well-bunkered greens make the course a real pleasure. The whole course has recently undergone a complete refurbishment to become one of Spain’s leading courses and the host to a number of Spanish Tournaments. The North Course is less demanding, but more picturesque than the South course. But the ravines come into play more often and good driving is required to score well. The West Course, designed by Dave Thomas, offers an interesting alternative to the other two courses. The course opened in 1993 and is rewarding to the iron player, demanding more accuracy than power. Please note that only soft spikes are allowed on these courses.
