We haven’t been to Almenara since New Year 2000, and it is over 3 years since we have been to the Costa del Sol. It is time to return. We have chosen the best courses and a top Hotel for a truly 5 star golfing break. But just in case it is beyond your means we also have a 4 star alternative at the NH Sotogrande Hotel nearby. Fly to Malaga and drive down the coastal motorway to Sotogrande in 1 hr. Check in to the beautiful Almenara Hotel, with its superb spa and golf course on site. Look across the hills towards San Roque and you will see two more great courses, the Old San Roque and the new La Reserva. But at the bottom of the hill lies one of the greatest courses in Spain – Royal Sotogrande. We will play them all. With courses of this quality we are obliged to limit the number of golfers to just 40. The port at Sotogrande now has many great restaurants and you can take a day trip to Gibraltar.
